"The hotel is located in front of the harbour , The view from the room window is beautiful magnificent both in the morning and at night.
Best way to take walk around the harbour , many cafes and restaurants are located there.
The hotel is decorated in a gorgeous and exquisite style, so much enjoy to sit and relax in the drinking bar area.
Of course the service is excellent and very helpful for every thing that you asked.
Thank you for having us stay."
"We only spent one night here but it was a pleasant stay. The location is great and there are restaurants, shops and supermarkets around the neighborhood. One thing that we liked the most is the design of the toilet, though we didn’t take any pictures of it. The toilet is spacious and designed in a modern and relaxed way."
"The house is over 170 years old and is relatively well-maintained. However, there are inevitable inconveniences of old houses, such as the lack of an elevator.
Hygiene: It is quite clean and overall refreshing.
Service: The front desk closes at 5 o'clock, and the key is in the password box. You can ask for the password by sending an email or calling the phone on the door. Two breakfasts were given, which were quite rich, including croissant yogurt, fruit coffee, etc."

"The hotel is located at the harbor, about 10 minutes' walk from the city center.
There are many restaurants around where you can drink while enjoying the sea breeze.
The hotel itself is a small museum
The small bar downstairs is open until 89 o'clock, which is great"
"It is a hotel with Chinese service. It is unattractive but the room facilities are quite complete. It is not a problem to cook by yourself. There is a Malay food stall downstairs in the hotel, which tastes good."
"Free parking. About ten minutes walk from the bazaar, eliminating the embarrassment of finding a parking space. The disadvantages are obvious. This is an old house with a history of more than 100 years, made into a hotel. There is heating and air conditioning. The windows in my bedroom don't seem to close. The passing of the car can be heard more clearly. No deposit is required, and kitchen items are free to eat and use. The man looking at the house has bad ears. The old house is a bit interesting."
"The location is very good, the facilities are good, there are many things to eat around, and the market on Friday and Saturday is nearby, which is super convenient. The airport bus stop is just across the road, so transportation is no problem."
"I went to Tasmania for a few days from Sydney, because I especially chose to go to the market on Saturday to choose this hotel. The whole is very fond of, the opening of the window is the port, the scenery is really beautiful, the blue sky and the white clouds can see people drinking coffee very comfortable, the room is also very large, relatively clean, this hotel is below the bar, but our room is inside So it’s not noisy. The market on Saturday will be able to arrive in two or three minutes. The breakfast in the morning is very delicious. I like it overall, but the door in the room is unlocked and there is no safety chain. What makes me depressed is that the door key of my room can open the access door on the second floor of the lobby staircase. Is it possible for all the keys of the guest who can open the outer door of the second floor to open my door lock? ?"
"The room is clean and well-organized, with all the basic amenities provided. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is clean with hot water available, and the air conditioning works well. There are no issues with noise, making it a great choice for those who spend most of their time outside and need a convenient place to rest and shower. The location is good and easily accessible, offering great value for the price."
"Stayed here for 2 nights. Location is excellent in city centre with plenty of amenities around the hotel. Room is clean, spacious and installed with AC that comes with heater function to warm the room. The front-office staffs are very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Tin and Antonia who went the extra mile to solve my car park issue. Highly recommended and will return for my next visit to Hobart."

Very Good
黄黄健钧A great value for money option! The experience of staying at this 4-star hotel is nothing less than that of a 5-star hotel. The entire hotel is very well equipped with a small casino, various restaurants, bars, etc., which is very convenient. The rooms were very clean and the experience was great!
SSouthen Sky WarriorGood location. Close to both CBD and Sandy Bay. The kitchenette is very convenient. There was an electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, pots and pans and knives and forks, but no chopsticks. Free internet. Front desk closes at 9 pm, but you can enter and exit multiple doors at anytime with your room card. Free parking space. Luggage storage is available. Let us check in at 12 noon. For sleeping, there is a powerful air conditioner, but only two thin blankets and the mattress is too soft. A$6 for continental breakfast, but you have to fill out a form to order. A$6 for both washing machine or dryer. Free laundry powder or liquid. Wellington Mountain and a corner view of the ocean from your room!

GGuest UserWe are quite surprised and pleased with the complete amenities of our room. We have all toiletries (eg towels, shower gel, lotion, hair dryer) except tooth brush and toothpaste, smart TV, kitchen stuff (kettle, microwave, toaster, dishes and spoons). Another plus is good location with stunning lake view, many parking lots and close to the center.
Although the room is quite small but we love the comfort and coziness it brings.
FfishingrabbitWhile the hotel offers a range of appealing amenities, including a heated swimming pool, our recent three-night stay was marred by cleanliness issues within our room. Despite reporting stained bedsheets to the reception on the second night, the problem remained unresolved until the afternoon of the day. Even then, the room attendant's attempt to rectify the situation was incomplete, as a stained linen was inadvertently left behind.
While the hotel's facilities and standard amenities were comparable to other accommodations, the cleanliness shortcomings significantly impacted our overall experience. We hope that future guests will not encounter similar issues and that the hotel will take steps to address and prevent such occurrences in the future.

AAnonymous UserJust like other DoubleTree by Hilton hotels, this new hotel in Hobart provides excellent room and breakfast experience. We were always greeted & served by service oriented staff, & the signature welcome chocolate cookie was yummy. There was a free upgrade to a bigger room & it was so spacious & comfortable. Love the amenities in room as well as the complimentary coffee & tea bags. Breakfast was of great quality, didn't regret adding it to my booking. If we had to nitpick, location was a bit off from the main action near Franklin Square, but it wasn't too bad, about 10-15 min walk.
Overall, it was a wonderful 2-night stay & I'd love to stay here again if I return to Hobart!

GGuest UserVery happy with my stay at Movenpick hobart from 18-21/01/25 (Sat to Tue) for AU$606 - the rate (20% off for diamond tier) is even better than their end of year sale via official website as an ACCOR member (15% off)
Since other's reviews of classic rooms seem depressing as there is no view at all.....thus I booked a superior room with city view. However being allocated to room 403 on the 4/F .....instead of full length windows as per promotional pics.....my window is relatively less impressive. Also there is a high pitch wheezing sound from the corridor......but the sound has gone once we open our door..... hopefully I can have a better room above 5/F next time. Chocolate hours and the day bed in the room are something that we liked most, not much interaction with staff so hard on their hospitality....but on the day of check in around 3pm, a cleaning staff just entered and shocked to see us inside. She thought the room needs to be clean hopefully not making her scared

AAnonymous UserBeautiful house, bedroom and great balcony view. Friendly and helpful staff, clean house. I didn't like the bunk beds in my bedroom. Nice neighborhood near Salamanca market. House full of young guests. It was kind of noisy, but they quick went to bed and was quiet. Wifi doesn't work well, too many guests. I gound my bed too soft. But I would stay again.

LLina_USADo not stay at this hotel. The walls are paper thin, so you hear EVERYTHING—yes, EVERYTHING, if you know what I mean. The whole setup is bizarre (see photo). Who thought it was a good idea to cram the sink so close to the toilet that your elbow brushes it? Who looked at that and thought, ”Yeah, that’s totally normal and not awkward at all”? The carpet feels soooo dirty, and it’s ridiculous they don’t provide slippers. Actually, they do—but only if you’re willing to pay $6! Oh, and add another $5 for service fee!
On top of that, when I asked about why the water in the shower was lukewarm, and the response I got was that it’s because the hotel was at full capacity. How exactly is that my problem?! The receptionist told me to run the water for 10 minutes to ”fix” it… 10 minutes? Really? What happened to being eco-friendly?
Honestly, save your money and book somewhere else. It’s incredibly noisy, and you won’t get a peaceful night's sleep here. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The only redeeming qualities are the fitness center, location and the helpful and very nice staff.

GGuest UserThe hotel room is very large, the design must be beautiful, and the breakfast is also very delicious. It's a typical American breakfast. It's very good to have a menu to order according to your taste. The house has a sofa. It's very considerate to have a waiter come to the room to open the sofa and put it on. Beautiful surroundings of the hotel
GGuest UserHotel was great, didn’t realise it was situated over the top of a pub. But we didn’t research. The supreme king bed was the absolute best thing ever! So comfy and nice big comfy pillows!
Sink to wash hands located in room not toilet which we found odd and cleaner only made 1 side of the bed not the other. But great friendly staff, clean room pretty darn good for the price!
